Rosa proceeding but next? Kerala ganesha mural

 I've got two places to work with the hobby kits. One is Rosa diamond painting in progress.

The winter mini set is done today and so one table is clear. Haven't given varnish. Have kept it inside a cover .

It's mural ganesha at that place now waiting to start. 


















Change of table now. Starting with Ganesha's face now . Will wait till it dries and go for next area. It's risky if I keep my hand on it even accidentally. Now it's filling larger areas and waiting for it to dry. 

Outline is going to be a trial for me. I've attended one kerala mural class before but I'll go with a simple black outline for Ganesha and a maroon from the set of I've got left after I'm done with the colouring part of painting. 

I'm not trying blending and detailing here, it's already got lot of colouring details. It's got 34 colours. I'll only outline , or planned to anyway. 

So far, it's not a quick paint by numbers or pbn. 

But still, it's got the feel of sitting with a 3 month project! Some time daily. Except Sundays or lesser on weekends. 

How long has it been since I started this? Could be one month? Anyway , I'll try this till I'm interested. Ganesha Chaturthi is coming up so I'll plan to try this month. I usually pick up some speed when a painting is nearly over . It's my major time pass now. 


But the thing is, I'm keeping this one and I'm getting it framed if all goes well. Alternate is keeping in the file I've got. So let's see how it goes.

How I came across the paint by numbers?

 I came across it in flipkart or Amazon sort of. Not sure what I was searching for, probably painting related. I found the paint by numbers kit. It was priced around 500₹ and I bought one kit.  It probably took more than 15 days time. It was written as oil paints and I thought that's how paints were supposed to be. Not dry but not too flowy like acrylic either. Anyways, hard to comment on a first kit. But the output was one I liked. It was small cells mostly and no colouring on canvas. I didn't iron and just. Just painted by numbers.  It was difficult though so I decided not to try this one again.
